This experience is truly unique. We are the first stand-alone hotel in the U.S. to offer educational wine blending classes. Not only will you taste different wine varietals, you’ll create a custom blend of your own, complete with your very own label. We’ll serve light bites along the way. “Wine blending is truly an art form, one that I get to share and experience in new ways with guests from around the world.”

It’s not uncommon for students to discover their favorite beverages in college. But for Sarah, finding her passion for wine was a different story. She took a class her senior year called, Essentials of Wine, where she learned more than just the art of tasting it – the history, the science and the different regions that make it so good. So upon graduation, Sarah pursued her interest and began a career, working in a variety of wine-related positions before joining the Kessler Wine Blending team. Most recently, she joined the Guild of Sommeliers and is continuing her education to quench the thirst of knowledge for our Wine Blending guests.

If your passion for wine lasts over a decade, you know you’re really onto something. That is Peter Demarest’s story. After working with a team of brilliant wine, spirit and beer stewards in New Jersey, he quickly fell in love with the culture and pursued his passion. He began by conquering courses taught from the legendary Opici and Gallo brands. From there, he served as a wine buyer for one of the oldest gourmet shops in Boston, built wine programs in Charleston, South Carolina, led a wine bar in Mount Pleasant and was a sommelier for Bottles. Today, he helps create a memorable and unique wine blending experience for our guests.
