We are the second stand-alone hotel in the U.S. to offer educational wine blending classes. Not only will you taste different wine varietals, you’ll create a custom blend of your own, complete with your own label. We’ll serve light bites along the way. Demián Camacho Santa Ana is a national and internationally recognized bar operator, making his mark in Baja California Sur, Mexico where he opened his own reservation only speak easy bar, “Casa Coctel.” He has been featured in The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times for his innovative approach and has written for magazines and blogs such as Alcohol Professor, eatocracy, Inside F&B and aolslashfood. After creating and managing several bar programs in Alabama, Demián was awarded “Birmingham’s Best Bartender” by the Alabama Restaurant Association Alliance. He led cocktail seminars for Birmingham’s Botanical Gardens and the Little Savannah restaurant before bringing all his stories and experience to create wine blending experiences for our guests.
